Lawmakers consider proposal requiring state to disclose settlement terms

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – State legislators are considering a ban on flavored tobacco and vaping products. Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is backing another proposal for tighter enforcement of the tobacco age limit by requiring licenses for retailers.

The licenses could be revoked for illegal sales to underaged customers. The American Heart Association released a public opinion poll on Thursday showing majority support for flavored product bans and licensing retailers.
